Thanks for taking the time to read this introduction, because it's not likely we'd get to meet any other way! I'm among the really lucky ones since my mom and sister come to visit me every month, but I'm still lonely and searching for a true friend. I'd love to be able to share my innermost thoughts - my hopes, and dreams - my favorite memories -and the pleasures and frustrations of everyday life with someone who wants the same in return. It sure is strange living inside a prison, but we still go through a lot of the same things that you deal with every day. But sometimes I think that a sense of humor is the only thing that gets me through some of these long and dismal days. It would be nice to share that with somebody, too.

I'm 41 now. ..have been down a long time and have a long time to go. The biggest thing for me now is that my baby sister is about to have a baby boy, so I'm going to be an Uncle for the first time! I've kept busy taking college courses by correspondence, and am currently enrolled in a computer class here. I work out daily (I'm 6'3" and about 225 these days), read a lot, can get lost listening to music - CCR still gets me going. I grew up in Hawaii, Connecticut, Florida and San Francisco, and miss all those beaches (among a thousand other things that I'd be happy to tell you about if you give me the chance).

I'm a good listener, and Fm really longing to connect with someone who is honest, caring and has the time to share a smile or two with me. Maybe that's you!
