My name is Eugene, a native of Haiti.  I was born on July 17th, 1980, so that makes me a Cancer.  I came here to the US at the age of 9 and have been here since.  I went to school all the way to 11th grade, and left school because of a fight I got myself into, I never went back after that fight.  I've worked a lot of jobs and I am real good with my hands, I like to build things also.  I am fun to be with.  I make people laugh, but at the same time I am a serious person when it comes to business, when things have to get done. 

I got in trouble with the law at the age of 17 for driving without a license, for fighting, and this one that I'm upstate for is for robbery in the second degree because I kept my mouth shut and didn't say who robbed the victim.  I was charged with this crime all because I was there and I knew of the person who robbed the victim.  Way before I got locked up for this case I was thinking about slowing my life down a little bit because I was hanging around with the wrong crowd.  When I was arrested on this charge, I knew it was time for me to make a change in my life.  I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior of my life, and I have been following him since my conversion.

It's been 6 years now I've been a Christian and I thank God for opening my heart and eyes to his truth.  As you can see, I don't' smoke, I have my GED, I like to work out in the gym lifting weights, playing basketball, go to church, bible studies, and sing in the choir.  When I am released on the 14th of October this year, I will be going back to my home church to continue the work the Lord started doing in me there as a youth leader.  Also, I'm going to enroll myself in Nyack college to get my Associates and Bachelors Degree in Pastoral teaching and preaching.  That is a 4 year college coarse, so that will keep me busy.  I have one job waiting for me when I get released.  I'm also going to get involved into the Real Estate business when I get home.  Well that's all the information about me, and my release date is 10-14-08.
