George Piazza III an x-con who just got released after serving 6 1/2 years has finally made up his mind to end recidivism by cutting all ties with his childhood street thug friends by getting a job working for his mom at her tire shop and going to a junior college, only to be a witness to the murder of a young pregnant woman who's killers turns out to be George's rivals from the past, things get nasty when enemy Byron Dew B.K.A. big "B" west Oakland's drug king pin gets word from two corrupt cops who happen to be on Big "B" payroll that his old nemesis was the witness.  That's when cover ups begin.

Detective Tom Becker joins the Oakland Police Force after ten years in Boston, Ma.  to get caught in one of the biggest drug wars in Oakland's history that left a thousand questions unanswered, after a series of shocking crimes and courtroom battles that involved George's loved ones; soon Tom and George do meet. George would be Tom's answer and together they help bring down the most corrupt police force in the United States.
